I am currently studying Bachelor of Business and Information Technology. I am interested in the field of cybersecurity, IoT and have dabbled in UI/UX. I think VR/AR is a very underrated upcoming technology. It has many great uses and shoul be tapped into more.
I enjoy the less technical side of BBIT more than the technical side of it such as coding and the mathematical aspect such as probability and statistics.
I joined Strathmore University in 2020 and since it was during the pandemic, we studied first year online and started physical classes in second year. I am in fourth year semester one, hoping to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information And Technology.
I joined Riara Springs Girls High School in 2016 and it was my first time being in a boarding school. I experienced culture shock but quickly settled into life at the school. I attained a B- in my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
I like to travel and see new places and experience the culture, climate of the place. Friendly people in new places make the trip more exciting and take away the pressure of being a tourist.
I learnt the recorder when I was in class five and enjoyed playing music on it. It has helped me build muscle memory and get creative when it comes the improvising the notes.
I have been a bookworm since I was a child. My parents instilled a reading culture in me that has simply refused to die. I learn new vocabulary and it helps me take a break from reality and learn new things.
